I'm having a bad day And I'm so tired I want to cry When I play sweet music I get so incredibly high I put my heart and soul into it And the sweat burns my eyes Got my guitar in my hand That’s all I need No one understands the burdens that I carry It’s enough to destroy a soul There's a howling wind blowin’ And it’s so cold outside Don't even want to get out of bed All I want to do is hide It’s enough to destroy a soul

Is it better to be free or a slave? I still can’t tell which choice I’ve made It’s like being sliced down the middle With a rusty blade Following a trail of your own blood To an early grave Keep on digging to find some sleep in the bed I’ve made Do we really choose Or is it captivity Could we handle the shadows Where eyes don’t see Thoughts pull a muscle The weight is too heavy Following a trail of your own blood To an early grave Keep on digging to find some sleep in the bed I’ve made

I’m just an old soul saddened by the loneliness in my world I’m that lime green mold behind that place you forgot all about Bitter and Bruised, Dazed and Confused A thought shot in my head ricochet more than a bullet ever could I’m just pickin’ up the pieces of my skull With all the brain matter on the floor it’s any wonder I can still think at all I’ve got a dark cloudy soul Forecasted rain during your parade I don’t mean to be mean, It’s just the way it seems I can’t stop thinking that I’m Bitter and Bruised, Dazed and Confused A thought shot in my head ricochet more than a bullet ever could I’m just pickin’ up the pieces of my skull With all the brain matter on the floor it’s any wonder I can still think at all

about

Vaporizer was a song recorded in 2006 and featured in an award winning independent zombie film, "Bled White." This track brings an underground industrial feel that isn't typically associated with Fluid Minds. During the time of this recording, we drew a lot of our influences from Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, & Muse… which explains the different vibe of the material. With this in mind, we felt that the week of Halloween & Dia de los Muertos would be a great opportunity to finally release Vaporizer.

The idea behind this release was to include some of our other experimental tracks that fit the same "dark side" theme as Vaporizer. Most of the songs started as demo beats/compositions from various members of the group. They've collected dust over the years, but have been re-worked specifically for this album. We hope you appreciate our passion to try new things as musicians. Please enjoy these free unreleased tracks on behalf of Fluid Minds.
